Influencing and campaigning for change can be a long process. Here are summary and details of current and historic projects we’ve been involved in.

Others
We also work with others such as Fife Council, the community councils, and other groups similar to our own on initiatives such as;

The Active Way
A Sustrans project that has done extensive consultation and route option analysis for St Andrews. Work has fed into our proposals, and work done and planned with Fife Council.

Transition St Andrews
Community group that is all about sustainability and the environment. They run bike repair sessions, facilitate training, coordinate a bike pool and have a range of cargo and adaptive cycles for hire.

East Neuk 50 Cycle Route
We support the formation a tourism route from Kirkcaldy to Dundee via the Fife East Neuk and through St Andrews. It’s in the early stages of development.

A similar community group to ours campaigning for better cycling provision in Dundee and Tayside. We support each other in events and initiatives.

St Andrews to Crail path
We would love to see a safer cycling route, suitable for all, from St Andrews to Crail. We support the project to make this happen.

World Car Free Day
September 22nd 2018 we held a World Car Free Day in St Andrews giving a taste of what pedestrianisation could look like in our town. The day was a great success with many attractions and festival atmosphere. We believe pedestrianisation is part of the future of our town, and would be ideal providing more desirable and welcoming spaces for the thousands of visitors to enjoy the amenities that we have to offer.
